The Comments on "Gay League of America"

I wanted to post some of the comments on this piece from CAF members. Mind you if you randomly peruse this website, there is boobage galore everywhere you go. Even my own gallery is pretty much equal opportunity with a "Bad Girls" gallery. On my female pieces, I never get the comments that you will see here. I understand that comic fandom is majority male and straight male at that but I just thought after years of exposure to all things Gay in the media that we, as a society, would have cum further....or maybe not. I realized this as I was marching down Sunset Blvd with my partner and dog in tow when Prop 8 was unanimously supported by the judicial system of California.

I understand a double standard exists but I believe I should be allowed to post as much cock as I want as much as any CAF member who posts tits and ass.

Here is an example of the comments from that day:The comments by "Galore" are mine. What made me sad was the CAF member who makes the last comment. The irony of it is that this Gallery has a triple warning in it. First, the gallery is called "Gay and Proud Boys" and second there is a warning called "Adult Themes and Nudity" and third the gallery has a "NWS" or Not Work Safe warning that covers the image and you must log in to see the image. So with all that in place, the CAF member actually said I was ramming my deviant lifestyle down his throat....Hmmm. Possibly, he had to view these images multiple times in order to be sure it would offend him....double Hmmm.

Welcome to My First Blog on all things Superhero and Erotic !!!

This blog was birthed from events on Memorial Day Weekend over at my Comicartfans gallery. For those who don't know CAF (www.comicartfans.com), it is a great way for fans of comic book original art can share pieces that they have gather from their favorite artists. People have themes and fave artists and organize their galleries to their taste. My own gallery I called "Galore of Deviant Heroes" an eroticized pastiche of Legion of Super-heroes. My own moniker was Deviant Boy, replacing Deviant with Super in my own alternative universe. Where everything in the DC universe revolves around all things Super...my own would revolve around all things Deviant. I recently renamed it Deviant Boy's Superherotica....

My introduction to my gallery goes like this...

"ALL WHO ENTER BEWARE: This is a Deviant Gallery....where the passion for superheroes and sexual fantasy mix for both the male and the female of the species. We are sexual beings and it makes sense for many of us here to meld both in some shape or form, however intense or not. Although I appreciate both, you will see both represented here, both male and female, However, sexualized Superhero Women are well presented in many galleries here in CAF so this gallery is a nod mostly to sexualized Superhero Male who is mostly underrepresented..... Hope Both Guys and Girls have fun as much fun as I had asking these sometimes brave artists to realize these HOT images....and this Entire Gallery will be designated 'NWS'...so take care. I am a Big Legion Fan...great fodder for the sexual male mind...Hot Lads and Lasses...in tight costumes roaming the universe to fight evil....who could ask for anything more.... My name Deviant Boy speaks to that tradition and I like to think that I was rejected at Legion Try-Outs because of my Deviant Powers....deviant-vision, deviant-strength, deviant-invulnerability, etc...mainly because, well...they were incredibly Deviant for the Rocketship Clubhouse....for now. Stay tuned."

The reason why I have decided to divert many of my collected pieces here to Superherotica was because of the uproar on CAF regarding this particular piece above during the Memorial Weekend. This piece was called "Gay League of America" and was a commission by Jean Sinclair who is an artist from Brazil. I had posted this artwork on CAF quite some time ago but it was only really noticed and commented over the past weekend. It received a few negative, a few positive, and a few neutral comments. Over the next few days, I plan to post some of the works that caused a tizzy among the CAF community....Stay Tuned.
